I am looking for any information into what happended to Malinda (Moorman) Sanders b. Aug 1 1838 in Virginia but family is from Warren Co, Iowa.
I find where she is in the 1870 Warrensburg census with husband Jeremiah and kids (misspelled Saunders) and then Jeremiah marries Sarah Elizabeth (Fickas) Embree on July 20 1873. Some people have in their trees that she died in Mar 1871 but I haven't found anything to substantiate this.

The story from my great grandfather was that she died in Missouri but was buried back near family in Iowa. I haven't been able to find any death record or burial info.

There was a picture of a headstone in Warren Co, Iowa that has a Malinda Moorman but I traced that to be her brothers daughter.

I think my Malinda might have been quaker, but haven't verified.
