I am researching two Talley families in Howell County. The
first is that of Sara Jane Keil, who married (James W.??)
Talley and had six children:

1) Frances E. Talley(md. A.R. Horseman)
2) James W. Talley (md. Biddie Ann Holman)
3) Mariah Susan Talley(md. William Matlock)
4) Sarah J. Talley
5) Charles M. Talley (md. Nancy E. Nelson)
6) Joseph T. Talley

Sarah Jane Keil married her second husband, Sherwood Vaughn,
on 15 Aug 1874 and is buried in the Free Union Cemetery in
Howell County.

The other Talley family (which I believe connected with the
above), are sons of Joseph H. Talley (b. 1826 in TN):

George W. Talley (md. Letitia) and John E. Talley (md. Ida.)

All of these Talleys lived in Howell County at the same
time. I would love to collaborate with anyone connected
with any Talleys in Howell County. I have more info and you
probably do, too.
