* He is buried at the UNION GROVE CEMETERY in Howell County, Mo. his stone reads:
JAMES C. KARR
CPL HQ Co 70 INFANTRY
WWI & WWII
AUG. 10, 1892 MARCH 22, 1957
In the Cemetery there is a small sand color stone that I believe says
OUR DARLING
LEWIS KARR
OCT 21,34
I can not make out the rest of it or if the day & year are hard to read from my picture.
The stone is about the size of my hand. I'd like to find who this KARR is & if he belongs to my grandfather or another member of the family.
I have not been able to connect the other group of KARR (5 stones) to my grandfather or his family. Any assistance would be great!!
