I have a picture that belonged to my grandmother, Helen J. Munn. She was born 27 November 1900 in Spickard, Grundy Co., MO. I beleive that she is one of the 8th graders in this picture.

The only words on the picture are:

8th Grade Graduates, Grundy Co., Trenton Mo., June 9, 1915 Elizabeth Brainard, Sup't

There are 63 students pictured. Almost all the girls are wearing knee length white dresses and the boys are all dressed up in suits (knicker type) and ties. They are standing in front of the school by what appears to the main entrance and it has a large arched entryway.

Does anyone know what school this is and where exactly it is located?

I am probably totally off-base, don't know how they really did the town area names in those days, but there was a Forest Hill School where my Mills and Vance family went in Marion twp, #61, Grundy Co Mo, 16 Sept 1901 to 04 Feb 1902 where Vada Hopkins was teacher, School Board RT Harris, SC Barr, LE Christian. Just a piece of paper in Grannies trunk. Love to see a picture if anyone knows of one.

My grandmother Mildred Alderson graduated from the 8th grade from Trenton School in Jun 1915. Her diploma is signed by Superintendent Elizabeth Brainard. I don't have the picture you mentioned, but I was wondering if it listed any names? I would be interested in getting a copy of this photo if possible.
