Harrison Ballard and his wife, Frances Culbertson Ballard, are buried in Cooper Cemetery, Gentry County MO. So are my great-grandparents Charles and Delilah Ballard, and Charles' father Phillip Marvin Ballard. My three graves are together in one plot at the south end of the cemetery. Harrison's are at the extreme opposite north end. Always been curious why. None of my family had ever heard of Harrison. I've asked. I think these are the only marked Ballard graves in Cooper, so they're surely some sort of kin.

The Harrison Ballard and wife you wrote about are ancestors of my late husband and I see your name is the same as one of his sons --may we exchange information if you are still interested? I do have pictures of their tombstones. I just now ran across your post. They had 7-8 children and I have been in contact with descendants of most of them in the last few years and would be delighted to share with you.
