Chester Glen Bold, husband of Nicolina Leone Bold, passed away on May 20, 1985 at the St John's Mercy Hospital in Washington, MO, having reached the age of 59 years, eight months, and 11 days.
He was born on Sept 9, 1925 at St Louis, MO, the son of the late Daniel Bold and Henrietta Kuenne Bold. He was united in marriage to Ruby Larson Wren Bold, and she preceded him in death. He was later united in marriage to Nicolina Bold.
Surviving are his wife, Nicolina of Lonedell; three sons, Daniel and Chester Bold, both of St Louis, and Gordon Bold of Phoenix; one daughter, Charlene Street of Lemay, MO; three stepsons, Buddy Gene Kindermann in the Air Force in Turkey, Jihn Kindermann of St Louis, and Danny Fulkerson of Lonedell; one stepdaughter, Carol Kindermann of St Clair; two brothers, Kenneth Bold of Arkansas, and Lawrence Bold of St Louis; one sister, Fay Backers of St Louis; seven grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Mr Bold had been a fireman working with the Lemay Fire Protection District in St Louis for thirty years. He had served his country in the Marine Corps during WWII. He was a member of the VFW in Lemay and the Kiwanis Club in St Clair. He had devoted much time working with the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
He was dearly loved by family and friends and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Funeral Mass was held May 23 at the St Clare Church, St Clair. Interment was in the Jefferson Barracks Cemetery, St Louis. Arrangements were by Russell colonial Funeral Home in St Clair.
