Mrs. J. C. L. Boehm, sister to Miss Estelle Duckworth, died Saturday, August 2 (1902) at the home of her brother-in-law, Joseph P. Murphy, at St. Clair, at the age of 28 years, 10 months, 14 days. Her health was undermined about five years ago by an attack of grip and she gradually declined from that time. In 1895 she was married to Rev. J. C. L. Boehm, Presiding Elder of the West Plains District of the St. Louis M. E. Conference. Mrs. Boehm taught school for five years in her home town and was always active in Christian work. She was loved by all who knew her and her early death is deeply mourned by a wide circle of relatives and friends.
