I'm hoping that someone will have a connection to our COX & PIERCE family.

William COX b. 1835 Indiana; m. Martha/Margaret (PIERCE) b. 1840 MO. Their children were Mary Elizabeth b. 1859, Charles "Charlie", George, William & Sally.

Martha died and William married again and had a couple of more children, but I don't have any information for his 2nd wife and children, yet.

Mary Elizabeth (COX) b. 1859 is our line of the family. She married Reuben Ferguson ABBEY 1880 in Dent Co., MO.

William COX died while living in Hutton Valley, Howell Co., MO. in 1926.

Mary Elizabeth (COX) & Reuben F. ABBEY were living in Turtle, Dent Co., MO. in 1912 when their son, Jesse Lawrence ABBEY married Myrtle (BRYANT).

I have no information yet as to what became of the other COX children - Charles, George, William & Sally. The 1926 obit. for William stated that Charles, William & Sally were of Willow Springs, Howell Co., MO. at that time.....and George was of Harrisonville, MO.

I hope that someone has a COX or PIERCE connection to our family. Thank you for any information.
