Looking for info (including prior ancestry) of my great grandfather, Hiram Harris, born about 1831, who resided in Gallatin, Daviess County, MO, in 1880's. Married to Susannah Smith. Believe that he was descended from Harrises in Mecklenburg County, NC, but came to Gallatin from Texas. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.
