I am Jerre Cox Miller. I read in a Jack County Texas book that a Sammy Cox migrated to Texas along with a Levi, Nathan Cox. My gr grandfather was Jacob Hale Solomon Cox, son of Nathan Hale Solomon Cox.

It is possible that your Samuel Cox is this "Sammy Cox".
