Permelia Frances Robertson and her husband James William Kissinger moved from Cedar County, MO to Rio Blanco County, CO sometime between 1880 and 1900. Most of the 1890 Federal Census was lost in a fire, so I don't know the decade. By 1917, Permelia and James had moved from Colorado to Los Angeles County, CA. The 1920 Federal Census shows Permelia still in Los Angeles, but as the head of household, so James must have died sometime between 1917 and 1920. I am descended from their son, William Twyman and grandson Neland Augustus, the latter of whom remained in western Colorado until his death in 1969.
