There is a marriage license record on Ancestry.com for John G Mc Carthy of Garden City, Cass County, MO and Katherine E Miller of Garden City, Cass County, MO. He was age 40 and she was age 32 when the license was issued on 29 May 1944. The index states that they were married on 04 Jun 1944 at the Sycomore (sic) Grove Church, Cass County, Missouri.

According to the Cass County Master Cemetery Index, there was apparently a grave space left, or no date engraved on her tombstone, for Katherine E Miller McCarthy, born 1911. No date of death is shown in the index.

It will show his date of birth and date of death, and Katherine’s date of birth only.
Perhaps you have already found this information, since you have specific dates of birth and death for John.
