Hubert H. Whitworth, 68, of Cape Girardeau, died Tuesday, August 17, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born August 15, 1931 in Fredericktown to Gilford and Maude Whitworth. He married Thelma (Quinton) of Fredericktown, February 28, 1952, in Pochantas, Arkansas. She survives.

Preceding Mr. Whitworth in death were his parents, four brothers; and two sisters.

In addition to his wife, survivors include one son, Harold R. Whitworth of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Karen S. Whitworth and Rhonda K. Whitworth, both of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Winston Whitworth of Fredericktown; three grandchildren, Nicolle Whitworth of Perryville, Susann Wall of Arnold, and Matthew Randall Whitworth of Kansas City, Mo.

Funeral Services were August 20, 1999, at Follis-Sonderman Funeral Home. Burial was in Marcus Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Charles Canter, Don Canter, Jerry Canter, Bill canter, Darrell Whitworth, and Neil Whitworth.
