The sudden death last Friday of Mrs. M. W. (Miles) Bowman of Cape Girardeau was a great shock to her family and many friends. Her remains were interred in the Glen Allen cemetery Saturday, June 29 after appropriate funeral services, conducted by Rev. L. L. Pinnell. Mrs. Bowman leaves a husband and eight children to look upon her vacant chair. ~ Glen Allen News Item.
