Samuel B. McKnight is the son of William McKnight b. 1765, and the grandson of John McKnight, REvolutionary War Veteran who was born in 1730 in Ireland and immigrated to America around 1773. I am looking to try to get farther back to John's parents and back to Scotland. There are several theories I have found, whereas none are substantiated as far as I can see. Any luck on your end?
