HAROLD E. WEIMER, ILL FIVE YEARS, DIES
Harold E. Weimer, 62, of 661 W. Center St., was pronounced dead on arrival at the Wabash Employees Hospital at 2:15 p.m. yesterday. He had been under a doctor's care for five years.
Mr. Weimer was born July 26, 1895, in Cape Girardeau, MO. He moved to Decatur in 1919.
He was a retired Wabash Railroad employee and was owner of Weimer's meat market, 661 W. Center St.
Mr. Weimer was a Lutheran and a veteran of World War I.
He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Roberta Ferguson of Ferguson, MO.; and brothers, John and Lawrence, Cape Girardeau, Mo.
The body is at the J.J. Moran & Sons Funeral Home. It will be taken to Cape Girardeau for services and burial Saturday.
