My friends and I are collecting copies of older obituaries from Cape Girardeau county to be posted to the website created by Ed Mackley that is on the St Francois county site. Mr Mackley has generously agreed to upload them if we would scan them to him and the president of the Cape Girardeau county Genealogy Society has agreed to provide a link to the site. We feel that the obits are a rich source of information that can be useful to everyone.
