I have a Family Bible that belongs to the MOORE family who at one time lived near Mirable, Caldwell Co., MO. It is worn and tattered many of the pages are falling out or loose, but it has a lot of good information in it.

The 1st birth recorded is Edward MOORE, May 20, 1838, followed by Elizabeth A. Moore August 28 1846. (Written in a different hand the A. has become Anne and Sloan is written above MOORE). There are children listed and the statement that all were born near Mirabele.

Osborn Co, KS seems to be where the family moved to from MO.

I would really like to get this Bible to either a member of the family or someone who will take care of it. I also do not have time to do look ups, but will scan the pages and sent them as a JPEG to any who ask.

Other names are: Sloan, Lennen, Shull, Eckman, Hubbard I am not sure about the Shull, it could be Sheell but I don’t think so.

If this is your family or you know who it should go to please let me know. I don’t want to sell this is just want to bet it to the family.

I am highly interested in the Moore Family Bible if you still have it. If you don't and if possible to get the name/address of the person who obtained it from you. Edward and Elizabeth (Sloan) Moore were my Great-Great Grandparents. Their son William was my Great Grandfather who sired Freeda Moore who married Gilbert Cather. Their second son was Wm Joseph Cather and he was my Dad.

i would love to know if my great great grandmother Amy Moore is listed in it or my great grandmother Henrietta moor.. yes believe it or not my great great grandmother was a Moore and her daughter Henrietta also married a Moor just spelled it without the E kinda funny isn't

I'm glad to hear the bible is still in the family. My great grandfather was William Moore who was a brother to Kimp Moore. I'd love to see any information that's in the Bible. Would that be possible?
