Her parents were Martin and Johanna Shula. They arrived in New York 27 Aug. 1852, on the "George Green," which departed from Liverpool, England. The ship manafest listed M. Shula age 43, Johan age 43, Martin age 19, Wenzel age 17, Johan age 11 Hanz age 6, Bathania(?) infant, Barbara age 3, and last but not least Anna age 13.(The manifest is hard to read) They settled in Buffalo, NY. After three years they moved to Milwaukee, WI. After a year and six months,(24 Aug 1856) she married John Borecky.
