JOHN J. MANN
John J. Mann, 79 years old, farmer of the Dongola community died suddenly of a heart attack last Wednesday. Mr. McMann suffered a slight heart attack eight days before when his home burned. The body was taken to Morgan Funeral Home. Funeral services were held at the Baptist Church in Dongola, Friday, and burial was in southern Illinois. Mr. Mann is survived by his wife; three stepchildren, Roy Snider of Brownwood; Mrs. Luther Cobb of St. Louis and Mrs. Ora Davault of Jackson.
Note: The head title gives his name as John J. Mann; in the interior of the obit it is printed as "Mr. McMann" and then later again refered to as "Mr. Mann". I am not a family member and I do not know which is correct.
