Eschenbrenner LADD was born November 15, 1862 in New
Orleans,
La., and departed this life March 1, 1944 at her home near Greenbrier, Mo. Her age at the time of death was 82 years, 3 months and 16 days. She was the daughter of Francis and
Rosina Eschenbrenner of New
Orleans,
La., and in 1891 was united in marriage to H. A. Ladd of Greenbrier, Mo., who preceded her in death in 1926. To this union, two children were born, both of whom survive. They are, Mrs. J. H. Lee of
Houston, Texas; and W. L. Ladd of Greenbrier, Mo., 8 grandchildren, a sister, Miss Josephine
Eschenbrenner of
Houston Texas; and a brother, Louis
Eschenbrenner, New Oreleans,
La.
She was a member of the
Clemens Memorial Espicopal Church in
Houston,
Texas where she was an active worker most of her life.
The body was taken to
Baker Funeral Home Wednesday and remained there until Friday when it was removed to
LADD Chapel Church for services, with Rev. Paul
Grant in charge. The body was then sent to
Houston,
Texas for final rites and burial. It arrived there Saturday and lay in state until Sunday when last rites were conducted at Fogie West
Chapel. Interment was in the Forest
Park Cemetery.
