Researching my great-grandparents Alfred Neal (1862-1911) and Hannah Elizabeth Long Haskett (1866-1942) Wagner (Waggoner, or Wagoner - spelling varied) of Bollinger County Missouri. Both were born in Indiana, married in 1885, and moved to MO in 1899. They had 10 children. He was a farmer, and she was the postmistress at Buchanan, MO, and later worked at Rosemont Hall (girls dorm) at Will-Mayfield College. Does anyone have any photos? Would like to hear from anyone with any information!

Thanks!
Emma Brewer

Hi. Alfred and Hannah Elizabeth (Lizzie) are my gg grandparents. I actually do have a picture of Hannah Elizabeth Long Haskett Wagoner (long name, eh?!) She's also in a large group photo we have of my other gg grandparents 50th wedding anniversary in 1938. I'm gong to attempt to get those scanned into the computer, and will see about posting them here. Lizzie's daughter, Maude Ethel Wagner, was my grandmother Mildred Myers' mother. She died young. We have a number of pictures of her as well. Hope you are still around this website on occasion to catch my reply!

Sincerely,
Becky Dahm

Becky,

I'm so glad to hear from you. I corresponded with Sally Cantwell several months ago and she sent me lots of family info and pictures. She sent me some pictures of Vest, Maude and their family. I also have a picture of Alfred and Lizzie, which I have attached here. This was sent to me by Dale Wagoner. If you have a different picture, I would love to see it! I am also attaching a picture of Martha Hasket, which was Lizzie's mother. I have lots of info on the Wagners if you are interested.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Emma,

These are wonderful pics! Thanks for posting. Sally Cantwell is my aunt, and we're actually meeting for lunch next week to talk genealogy and exchange what information we have. You probably have the same photos now that I would be able to share. I'd love ANY info you have. Putting together the pieces, bit by bit. I like being able to claim my female lineage seven generations back. I feel LUCKY to be able to do so, as so often it is more difficult to trace the female side, with name changes, etc.

I am Becky Dahm, daughter of Kathy Hohn Dahm, daughter of Mildred Myers Hohn, daughter of Maude Ethel Wagner, daughter of Hannah Elizabeth Long Haskett, daughter of Martha Haskett, daughter of Mary Baugh. Hannah Haskett's father is unknown to me--we know she was raised as Rubin Long's stepdaughter. Do you know anything more of this? Anyhoo, thanks for the reply!!

Sincerely,
Becky

Becky,

My grandfather Roy H. Wagner was a brother to your great-grandmother Maud Myers. I have lots of info on the Wagner family, as well as a little on the Haskett's. I started my research with a family chart that Dale Wagner had put together in the 1990's. I would be glad to share any info I have. You can e-mail me direct at ebrewer99@hotmail.com.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Hi Emma:

I have some Wagner's in my Mills family. The oldest I have is a Luther Wagner (1851-1930). I also have a few Myers but no Hasketts at this time.

My family are descendants of David A. Mills of Stoddard county, Missouri. Most then moved north to Bollinger County around the Marquand area. Ther names are Crook, Mouser, Powell, Salyers, Switzer and Watts. any of these names ring a bell with you. I will share my info with you.

Art,

Unfortunately none of these names ring a bell. My Wagners came to Bollinger County from Indiana, but I haven't found a Luther in the bunch. I don't have any connection to the other family names you listed either.

Good luck in your search!
Emma
