At Crosno, Mo., near his home, Robert
Barr, the son of J. S. Barr of Glen Allen, was killed by an Iron Mountain train June 25. Our informant failed to give us any particulars. ~ Local
NewsJune 25, Robert F. Barr went down the railroad one-half mile, to
Crosno, his trading point, where a crowd had gathered for business and pleasure. About 10 p.m. he started home. A few minutes later an engine and caboose passed up the road, and Sunday morning his body was discovered about one-quarter of a mile from
Crosno. No one knows how he was killed.

Robert F. Barr was born June 11, 1880; died June 25, 1910, aged 30 years and 14 days. His father, J. S. Barr, moved from Millerville to
Laflin in 1882, where Bob, as he was familiarly known, was reared. In 1902 the family moved to the west wide of
Bollinger county and in 1905 Bob was married to Lessee
Cloninger. He leaves a wife, one child, father, sister and three brothers to mourn his departure. In 1906 he moved to
Crosno, where he made his home until claimed by the grim reaper. He was interred near that place, to await the resurrection morn. Peace to his ashes. His father.
