Using the "Index to Bates County, Missouri Probate Papers" by Joan Kusek, I discovered that there are probate papers on some of my ancestors from Bates County. I found the Bates County Courthouse's web site, but there was no information about probate records listed. Where are the probate records for Bates County held and who should I contact to find out when the office is open?
