How ironic; I have been doing research on Frank (Sr.)and Clara Thorpe for an article I am writing for the paper about the old mill. Looking up some stuff for their house(s) on South Gulf right now.

Yes, I have access to all the files in the hisotrical society. And since we are in the basement I can upstairs to look for something in the Recorders office.

C. Y. was quite the guy. He sold/bought/fixed up many properties here in Barton County, mostly farms but several houses as well. I can't give you all the info because that would be a lot.
