Looking for the marriage records of James Oliver Nelson.
He married a Dicia Jane ___?____. After his father died in 1882 in Ray county his mother remarried to a Andrew Baldwin.
His oldest son Edward Thomas b. 1899 died before the 1910 census was taken. The other Nelson children are Odis/Otis b.1901,Anna C.b.1904,Opal b.1906, Ola M. b. 1908,Elizabeth b. 1912 and Mildred b. 1915.
Any information on this family would be appreciated.The Baldwins ( James' step father and his mother ) and his oldest Edward Thomas are buried in the Madry Cemetery.

Carson & Opal Jane(Nelson)Shockley (deceased) were my grandparents.They are buried in Clay Hill Cemetary out of Aurora, going toward Madry.Cobbie & Dicey Nelson were my great grandparents.My father is Herman "Boone Shockley.I'm related to Punk & Kenny Baldwin & Ray & Mayrene Baldwin.Their kids are Dennis,Darlene,Ardeana & Jody.Mayrene died a few years ago.Saw them at Mayrene's funeral.I've got pictures of James & Dicey Nelson.And also of my Grandma Opal.Will send them to you if ya like.

Hello Monte, I'm glad to meet you. Yes I would love to have some photos of Ollie and Dicey Nelson. Oliver was my Grandfather's brother. I only have two photos of dicey and none of Oliver after the age of thirty.

I think i've just got one of Cobbie (Ollie) & my Grandma Opal together and one of Grandma Dicey with my Uncle Marvin Smith & his kids in it.I don't know alot of people on the Nelson side of the family. Just found out that I had a Great Grandpa named Cobbie a few years ago when I saw him in this picture with my Grandma Opal.I was at Grandma Dicey's when I was real young.She was kind of a fiesty old woman.I know Mid & Biggie and my cousin Larry.They use to all live in Michigan.I'll send you what pictures I got.Do you know any of the cousins from Aurora,Mo.? Good to meet you too.
