I am looking for information about an African-American family
surnamed "STROTTER" from Pass Christian, Mississippi. Thama Strotter
was my gggrandmother and lived to be 103 yrs old. She said she
was 6 yrs old when the slaves were freed and remembered the union army
marching through her hometown. If you have any information about any
Strotter surnames at all I would like to have it. I can find no references
to this surname at all and would like to be assured that we have the name
