I am seeking information re M.V. Or M.B. Thornton who was a doctor in Tishomingo, Co. in the late 1880's. When & where was he born? Did he have relatives in Tishomingo Co.? When and where did he die?

Dr. M.B. Thornton is listed in the Tishomingo County, Mississippi Cash Book 1899.

He is listed as Thornton, M.V. (Dr.) in the 1888 Tax Receipts Tishomingo County Mississippi Taxes Collected by the Sheriff's Office, Iuka, Mississippi Page 65
No. 856 Dr. M. V. Thornton Total Taxes $2.62 paid 12/11/88.

I could not find him on the 1880 or 1900 census in Tishomingo Co., MS. He is not listed in the Tishomingo Counties Mississippi Cemeteries.
