Am trying to find parents of ENOCH JAMES GARRISON DOWNS, b: 1824, SC who married RACHEL MAUD SMITH, b: 1832. This couple married in Itawamba Co., but were in the 1860 Tippah Co. Census, town of Daniels, and in 1870 Tippah Co., town of Ripley. I don't know where they were in 1850 or 1880. Any help will be very much appreciated. Please reply to: BRochevot@aol.com.
