Among those here were; Mr.& Mrs.C.R.BOATRIGHT, Brenda, Mary Lynn,and Sandy of MEMPHIS, Mr.& Mrs. Floyd HENSLEY and Allen of MEMPHIS, Mr.& Mrs. Donald COX of MEMPHIS, Mr.& Mrs. Carroll Cox, Donna Jean and Nancy of MEMPHIS, Mr.& Mrs. Bryant BURFORD and Jeanette of CRENSHAW, Mr.& Mrs. Leo COX and Carolyn of SENATOBIA, Mr.& Mrs. Kerr COX of LOOXAHOMA, their granddaughter, Mrs.Bill BENNETT and Mr.BENNETT of RUSTON, LA(and little Henry SANDERS of HERNANDO.
This article was cut from(?don't know what newspaper)an old paper and found in my deceased mother's safe,locked with her important papers...She was, Lillie (Barkhimer) Cocke and was married to Samuel M. Cocke b.1896, son of James Alexander Cocke b. in Tate Co, MS in 1857. James A. Cocke (was the son of Samuel M. Cocke b.1819, my greatgrandfather)Sam M. Cocke was in Tate Co, MS, living in Looxahooma in 1880 and died in 1896 or'98. Sam M. Cocke had sons (1)Henry Harris Cocke, wife Mary Langston,(2)James Alex. Cocke,wife Martha Jeff Goode,(3)Samuel A. Cocke, wife ?,moved to Memphis,TN.(4)Leo
Cocke died at 20yr old...Henry Harris had a son, Carroll Cocke and Kerr Cocke...I would like to know who the S.C. Cox, Carroll Cox, Leo Cox and Kerr Cox is in this article ...also, where is Crenshaw?
