I stumbled across a Rodman family in Marshall while chasing down the Garrisons. This was W. D. His son, Emmett Lee, became prominent in education in Ark and OK. He showed up in some Google searches and had write ups that showed the entire family.
It perked my interest of W D and coincidentially finding DeKalb Garrison. Had to be some connection and relationship.
Looks like W D was much younger brother of Alexander Kell Rodman, father of Joseph Lee; therefore W D is Joseph Lee's uncle.
