Linda, I feel so dumb! I can't recall if we ever communicated about the Davis/Moore marriage in Rankin Co. I feel so sure that I would remember because that is a family I have been doing research on for some time and know it is the same as my g grandfather, i.e., George Washington Davis. G.W. married Mary Ann Garrett after Nancy Moore died and I descend from one of their issue. Since I don't recall perhaps you can. If we did not make contact I would like to share data with you.

My family is related to yours I am related to Elizabeth Frances Moore who married Henry Hardin Smith in Hinds County, MS, My family is Smith, Moore, and Lott family from Carroll County, MS, and Yalobusha, and Mary Webb is the mother of Elisha Moore, and twins must run in the family, Elizabeth and Henry had two sets also, and they named their children Lee Clayton Smith and Lewis Webb Smith. Reverand Lewis Moore was the father of Elisha Moore, they were both Baptist Preachers, and I think that John Moore born 1717 in Virgina or NC. was Lewis Moores father, he was also a Baptist Preacher in North Carolina.
