This post comes some time after yours, so it may not be of any help; but.. I found Gulde Cemetery just a mile or so West of Pelahatchie, Rankin Co., MS on Highway 80 and the Gulde-Shiloh Road. You can take I-20 east from Jackson and there is an exit to Pelahatchie (just north of I-20)and then turn left onto Hwy. 80. The cemetery is on the left (south side of Hwy 80).

Locally they pronounce Gulde like "Goo-lee"
There was no one I spoke with (in Oct. 2007) that could confirm that the present Gulde cem. used to be New Prospect; and I could not find any of the graves that other people had claimed were buried there. It is not a very large cemetery and fairly well maintained.

There is another Cemetery called New Prospect just over the county from Rankin in Smith Co. It also did not have any of the graves others had claimed were in the "New Prospect" cemetery. I would like to confirm the information about Cox family graves posted in various places, but can not find any of those graves.
