We are seeking any and all information on the descendants of Elisha (Elijah) and Jane Richardson Harrell of Washington Parish LA and Simpson County MS who settled in Rankin County MS about 1835. The Harrell brothers are said to be John, Elijah, Robert, William, Telfair, and Isaac. John Harrell m. 1832 Elizabeth Pruitt in Lawrence County and after some time in Rankin County removed to Leake County. It is written that Elijah Harrell married 1836 Rankin County a full blood Choctaw woman. Robert married Sarah

I am looking for information on my GG Grandfather. His name was John Harrell and he may have died in J'boro Ark. It is believed that he was either Blackfoot or Choctaw Indian. He married Mollie Williams, Mollie had sisters Sally Williams and Manella Williams. John and Mollie Harrell had Willie Mae Harrell who was the mother of Dewey Howe who was my grandfather. Dewey was from the north MS area where my Grandmother still lives. The had 6 children. I would like any information on the Harrells that you may have.

She died 25 January 1974 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. My Grandmother is Marvell Marie Harrell-Cummings-Parker. She was born 17 September 1925 in Carthage, MS.

Elisha (AKA Elijah in some records) HARRELL b. c1776 SC (parents unknown) said to be of Burke County GA m. 27 November 1804 Jane RICHARDSON (b. c1780 GA) in Bulloch County GA. It is written that Jane RICHARDSON was the d/o Benjamin RICHARDSON & Sarah MIZELL. Records show Elisha & Jane RICHARDSON HARRELL had a daughter Fannyriah who is known to have been born c1805 in GA. This family migrated c1807 to St Tammany/Washington Parish LA where they are enumerated 1820 Washington Parish. Before the 1830 census the family had removed to Simpson County MS where it is written that Elisha & Jane RICHARDSON HARRELL died. Their sons John B. AL m. 1832 Elizabeth PRUITT in Lawrence County MS; Robert b. LA m. Sarah UNKNOWN (no marriage record found); William b. LA m. 1834 Harriet Williams in Rankin County MS; Telfair b.
