Cambell White was a large land owner around Quitman County, Ms. He had a sister-in-law who lived in Chickasaw County, Mississippi. He left his money and land to Mississippi State Universty I think. He got mad at Ole Miss about something. He was going to leave it to them.

Cambell had a lot of connection with the law and politican. As it is said "He carried a big stick in Mississippi"

William Alfred "Alf" Moore was in parteners with Cambell but lost everythin when Cambell died because nothing was wrote down on paper.
