I'm looking for the James Madison Porter family in Prentiss
County Miss. this is my greatgrandfathers family.
James M. Porter b. 1820 in N.C married Mary C. Watson Feb 1844 he and his family move to Prentiss County in the late
1850's or 60's some of the family moved on to Texas (Wise co.)My Grandfather included his name is Geroge Baxter Porter
b 1854 in N.C married T. Frances Bell. b 1852 in tenn. I don't know where they met or married. Their children were all born in Texas. Thanks for any and all the help ahead of time.
