I may be descendant of one of those slaves. My great grandfather was Berry Walker of Noxubee County Mississippi. Berry was born around 1846.

I traveled to that county in search of information. I found the grave of Berry's wife, Harriett Tolen (or Stovall acording to her marriage license).

Berry's daughter married Dan Baskerville and moved to Blaine County, OK. That is my Walker line.
