My family are the Black Gilkey's of Noxubee County Mississippi. My great, great grandmother Ginett or Jennette Hopkins-Gilkey (born in Virginia abt. 1840) married a Sam Gilkey ( born in Alabama) in Noxubee in 1890. Not sure if Sam was related to Alfred. I tried to get a copy of their marriage certificate and Ginett's death certificate. Both I believe died in Noxubee County. Hope you can help.
