Eaton Davenport HYDE and Emily Jane KELLY were married in Noxubee on Oct 17, 1844. I believe her to be a daughter of either Samuel or Joseph Kelly as they are both listed on the Noxubee 1840 census. Joseph is probably her father, but I have not been able to document the connection. I would appreciate any information, such as cemetary inscriptions for KELLY, etc. They may also have had a son born to them in Noxubee: Eaton D. HYDE 1864. This is my "brick wall". I have been unable to find out anything about them. Emily Jane Kelly was supposed to have been born in 1827 in Alabama, but I have been unable to find her there. I know that the couple moved to Winston County in 1856 as Eaton was appointed Probate Clerk and then Probate Judge until post-Civil War disenfranchisement.
