I am looking for some info on a Lucretia Bane Burroughs. I came across her name recently on the website find a grave. She was born in Winston county July 12, 1854 or July 12, 1855 and died in Neshoba county April 25, 1915. She is buried at Morrow Memorial Cemetery in Neshoba county. Her parents were David Bane and Nancy ? Bane. I believe there maybe a connection to my great great grandfather Sanford Alexander Bane. Sanford Bane (S.A. Banes in some records) was born in Winston county March 26, 1843 and died May 5, 1918. it is believed (although not proven) that his father was David Bane and his mother was either named Caroline or Nancy. Sanford eventually went to live with the Malone family in Winston county. I am not sure what happened to David Bane and family after that. I believe Sanford and Lucretia may be siblings.
