I'm looking for the sources used for the family information of James A. Costilow and Martha A. Miller. I mean in regards to their birth and marriage dates (married on 25 Jul 1855)... and where these things occured? What proof and documents do we have connecting our James A. Costilow to Christopher and Mary (Reeder) Costilow in Harrison/Barbour, WV?

All records I find point my James A. Costilow's birthdate as 1833. Census records for Christopher's household points his son James A.'s birthdate as in 1831. I just found a marriage record yesterday for a James A. Costilow married to an Eliza Robinson in Harrison Co, WV on 17 Nov 1859. It lists James A. as the son of Christopher and Mary Costilow and born in 1831.

How could James A. Costilow have had two wives at the same time? I think we might be dealing with two completely different James A. Costilow's. PLEASE get back to me on the sources for these events, or let me know who I can get in contact with. We have some definite ancestry issues for our James A. Costilow. Thanks.
