Campbell researchers regarding John and Margaret Campbell who lived in Lafayette County MS from circa 1838 till sometime after 1860. I believe they married approximately in 1842 in Lafayette County and was found in the 1840/1850/1860 census records of said County. I also believe they both were born in Anson County NC about 1810.
Their children were:
Caroline born approx. 1843
Margaret Jane born approx. 1844
Augustin H (Gustin) born approx. 1846
Martha A. born approx. 1848
Hugh born approx. 1851
They were not found in the 1870 census of Lafayette County MS and I have not found them in any other Counties in MS or any other state. I would appreciate any descendants of said couple to contact me regarding them. I believe I am related to both John Campbell and his wife who I believe is Margaret McRae. I would love to exchange information regarding them.
