In 1896 Marion County Ms.Willie Lott-9yrs....Sarena/Rena Lott 14yrs....Robert Lott 10yrs....Cordelia Lott 7yrs....J.L.Lott male,7yrs. The 1900 County Federal Census: Joshua Lott b.1854/Sarah E.Lott b. 1853/Sarah J.Lott b.1881/Robert Lott b.1886/Cordelia Lott b.1888/Rosa A.Lott b.1893/Mary E.Lott b.1896. These listings verify that this Joshua L.Lott did not marry Alice Johnson. The wife, Sarah is still listed in the home of Joshua Lott on the 1900. Marion County Federal Census. Alice Johnston married J.L.Lott 27 Jan 1888. So Alice Johnston married another J.L.Lott. Note that Rena's father, Joshua Lott,married Sarah Rowley on 30 Oct 1873-and they are still on the census together in 1900/1910. That rules out our Joshua Lott marring Alice Johnston.
