William Thomas Banks born March 15, 1885 in Enondale, Kemper County, Mississippi, died Feb 9, 1940, Chattanooga, Tennessee.
I'm trying to find anything else about William when he lived in Mississippi as a young man. His mother was named Harriet Banks she lived in Kemper county also I think in Porterville.
William was mullato, his father was William Davenport who lived in Porterville, Kemper County also.
I haven't been able to find a birth record for William.
no information about his mother either.

One time i heard that he might have been born in Meridian but haven't found any truth to that either.

I'm grateful for any information.
Or where i can write to for information.
I'd like to make a trip to Mississippi but I'm not sure where to go to look up the records. any help with this would be appreciated as well.
