Thanks so much for your diligent efforts! I will try to print off the Collins photos tomorrow. On the seven Valentine sons photo, I thought the caption said that you were the original donor. If not, I sure appreciate your effort to get approval from the donor.

I will also need signed permission letters from you and whoever else approves the pictures for the press, so if you could privately send my your address, that would be great. I still don't know hos this system works--is there some way we can communicate privately so you don't have to display your snail mail address?

Hi:

If it appears that I am the original submitter of the Valentine sons photograph, it is an error. I wish I did have that photograph though.

Probably the only way is to contact for mailing address is by private email. I do appreciate your concerns about posting online addresses. I did send my email address in an earlier post. If you contact me that way, I will respect your privacy.
Sincerely,
MaryAllen

Surnames: COLLINS ELLZEY KNIGHT BRIGHT PARKER JENNINGS MYRICK
Hi,

Interested in whether or not your COLLINS might connect with my one COLLINS I know of in Jones County, Mississippi.

My paternal 3rd great grandmother, Mary COLLINS, married Evan ELLZEY, parents of my 2nd great grandmother, Harriet ELLZEY, who married John LEWIS of Jones County, MS, parents of my great grandmother, Rachael Moranda LEWIS, whose 2nd or 3rd husband was my great grandfather, Spencer B. PARKER, parents of my grandmother, Allie Artimissa PARKER who married James Martin "Jim" MYRICK.

For a long time now, I've been trying to find out the parents of Mary COLLINS.

I have been told that the name of Mary COLLINS for the wife of Evan ELLZEY is a family Bible but nothing more.

Harriet(t) ELLZEY, born: 1824 either in SC or in Jones County, Mississippi.

Mary COLLINS? and Evan ELLZEY, born: 1796 in Orangeburg District, South Carolina.

John LEWIS, born: Abt.1820 in Jones County, Mississippi, (son of Nancy COPELAND and Howell LEWIS of Granville Co., NC to Jones Co., MS,)

Rachael Moranda "Randa/Randy" LEWIS, born: 1851 in Jones Co., MS, whom is said to have married both known husbands under the name Moranda COLEMAN,(not sure why....an earlier husband?,) when she married #1 or 2?: John Wesley BRIGHT and # 2 or 3?, Spencer B. PARKER, born: 1859 in either Smith or Rankin Co., MS, (son of Sarah "Sally" JENNINGS and Jeremiah "Jerry" PARKER of Copiah, Smith, Rankin, Simpson counties family group that then went into West Carroll Parish, Louisiana.

I would appreciate any help with the parents and/or siblings of Mary COLLINS. In advance, I thank you.

Sincerely,

Bellinda Myrick-Barnett
