This generation of children produced 47 grand children and over 100 great grandchildren and counting. The majority of these Robertsons live throughout the southeast with a large portion still in the Jones County Area.
The Robertson children grew up on a farm in rural Ellisville, MS. Most went on to college and grew up to be successful members of society and have children of their own.
We are in the process of putting together a family tree to post on the internet so that as more members are added it will be easier to maintain a list. It is now extremely difficult with over 250 members including spouses.
We are extremely proud of our family and I was extremely disappointed to see no mention of our family any where in the Jones County web site. I found that to be a little ridiculous considering the prominence of our family throughout the 1900's. We practically built Jones County Junior College with all the Robertsons who have studied there. In the future please do no hesitate to contact me or any member of our family, so that our proud family can be dignified by being part of the rich heritage of Jones County Mississippi in cyberspace.
