I am looking for information on my great great grandfather. I know very little about him I believe his name was James Williams. Born abt 1855 He was married to Hanna C. Shows they had one child Peter Cornelius Williams. James died March 1878 just a month before his son was born. My Gandma recently told me that he was a logger and was killed by a falling tree. His first name birth and death date I got from one world tree I have no evidence to prove any of it All I know for sure is that in 1880 the United States Federal Census shows Hanna and Peter Williams living back with her family the Shows family and it says she is a widow.
