my grandmother is the daughter of Lenora Turner..her twin sisters were Angie & Aliice Smith...and Howard raised her
as she doesn't remember her dad...her father died when
she was very young.

Lenora lived around San Saba...and my grandmother lived
most of her married life inn her later years with her husband
and family around Longview and Kilgore Texas.

All of Essie's children, my mothers mother....went to Kilgore High School. They lived in Plainview, Lubbock, Amarillo..and mother was born in Vernon...In order; the childrens names
were; Essie, Frank Jr, Fayrene, Charles, Dolores....my mother
was Fayrene Hines...her mother married; Frank Hines...from Kansas...(which goes back to Ohio...around Woodsfield..have done research on this family as well)...interesting...too..

did get her social security card but only after she started
to work in Michigan..did they send it to her...after she
