The "Armstrong Roll" of 1831 (A census of Choctaw Indians desiring to remain in Mississippi and not relocate to Indian Territory) indicates my 5th Great Grandmother, Mary or Molly Tashapiathacho was a Choctaw Head of Family who had elected to take out US citizenship and reside on the west bank of Tallahoma Creek on her 900 acre parcel, along with eight other members of her family. She was listed as "widow of Tashapiathacho," her husband who apparently predeceased her. I am most interested in learning if any of you who are acquainted with Jasper County history and genealogy have access to any Jasper county census or other early records that might offer any further details on Mary or Molly Tashapiathacho. Thank you very much for your anticipated help. Please feel free to contact me at my email address above,
