Am looking for information about Elisha P. Roberts, who lived in Hinds and Copiah Counties in the 1840's - 1910's. In 1860, he is listed with Theophilus and Permelia (Roberts)Green (Theophilus m. Mrs. Permelia Roberts in 1840). Is Permelia his mother? Who was his father? He enlisted with Co. E, 18th MS Infantry, C.S.A. in June of 1861 and served until Berryville, when he was furloughed. He married Mrs. Emily M. Ellis Sumrall in 1865, and they had several children. He may have been killed in a lumber mill accident in Claiborne County in the 1910's. He is buried in the Pine Bluff Cemetery in Copiah County. Does anyone have any information about Elisha P. Roberts and/or his descendents?
